(engl. fast = schnell, food = schnelle Nahrung) ist Essen, das in der Gastronomie zum sofortigen Verzehr zubereitet wird (Schnellimbiss). Der Begriff Fastfood ist bei vielen im Sinne von » Junkfood negativ belegt.
